Well yeah, of course it's better graphically, the others were on the PS2.

The colored wording describes my feelings on GT4, it is not that great of a game and had no extra content to make it better than San Andreas or VC in my opinion.  I could care less aobut the graphics, mostly because even though it is a next gen game, it lacked IMO next gen graphics.  Every game including launch games on both the 360 and PS3 looked better than this game graphically.  Infamous, oblivion, and Fallout 3 really showed how to make an open world game (on a console) with phenominal graphics.

I'm not nuts about any GTA game - always found them repetitive and a little childish for my tastes - but I did like GTA4 more, although, ironically, I missed the childishness a bit, so go figure.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yeah, honestly, that's one of the things that really makes me like GTA4. I think GTTV put it something like that he's the first likeable GTA-protagonist and that you want him to win. That's exactly how I felt. I thought the characters in general in the game were great.

but if GTA4 was called Godfather 4....I would LOVE the game....

but as it was a GTA....it didn't do what I thought it would

Actually for me it has been about characters aswell. In GTA3, GTA VC and GTA SA you had badass characters who were very funny and who were very likeable. Niko was a very boring and serious character imo. The only characters that I could like in GTA4 were Roman, Little Jacob and Brucie.
