Demon's Souls director wants to do a sequel

Dem`on's Souls was a bit of a surprise hit in the West. From Software's RPG barely made a splash in the land of the rising sun,
and it wasn't until months after the games release that it was picked up and released by Atlus.
After a tremendous critical reception on our side of the pond, though, the game caught on quickly.
The initial shipment sold out within days, sending Atlus scrambling to meet demand for the game.
While we aren't sure exactly how the game has fared, we wouldn't be surprised to see the title chart in the top 10 list in October's NPDs.
News of the game's success in the West has made it all the way back to Japan, where Demon's Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki has
been talking about a sequel. Though he can't confirm whether or not From Software will greenlight the follow up,
Miyazaki did say he would "welcome the chance" to go back at it.
"I’m just an employee of the development company, so I can’t directly answer whether there’ll be a sequel to Demon’s Souls.
With that said, my personal opinion is that we learned a lot during the development of Demon’s Souls, and there were a lot of things that we couldn’t do the first time,
so I’d welcome the chance to create an even better game in the same style if the opportunity arises." Miyazaki pined during a recent interview
with GI's Phil Kollar. I know I still have more controllers to break and hair to rip from my head, so I'm down.
What would you think about a Demon's Souls sequel?
