The question is, what will the PS3's big game for holiday 2010 be? I think they're going to purposely delay Gt5 for that reason.

This is a great question. It got me thinking so i did a little math based on the difference between the PS3 and the 360 sales from 2008.

01 - November difference 14173 units
08 - November difference 72609 units
15 - N0vember difference 92368 units
22 - November difference 160501 units
29 - November difference 326985 units
06 - December difference 213072 units
13 - December difference 234327 units
20 - December difference 338936 units
27 - December difference 244136 units

Total difference from 01 - November till 27 - December = 1697107 units

So just based on this we should have a pretty good idea of what the gap will be at the end of this year.

If PS3 is tracking above 360 2008 levels and 360 is tracking below PS3 2008 levels then the difference from now till the end of the year should be reduced by more than just 1697107 units. In other words, 4M gap is VERY POSSIBLE

Im betting they will market the nuts off Agent, make it seem like the next GTA... And hope to god it sells like a GTA game.

We also have no idea what Sony 1st Party have planned, which is a first this gen.

Hopefully the PS3 will continue to sell this well when MS drops the arcade to $99

I don't think Agent is going to make it by next year. I mean there are games with demos out aready that aren't coming out for 2010. Agent doesn't even have a screenshot.

I don't think Agent is going to make it by next year. I mean there are games with demos out aready that aren't coming out for 2010. Agent doesn't even have a screenshot.

I dunno, Rock* say it will release sometime next year... So until i hear otherwise i keep it in my 2010 list.
