And CoD beeing more popular than FIFA in the UK smells like BS to me dear sir. So your national sport is shooting people instead of kicking ball? Or are you training for muslim takeover and the upcomming urban warfare?

I am fairly certain FIFA is bigger than CoD. Certainly on PS3. The UK's buying trends are far more similar to the USA than Europe

CoD4 sold 2.15 million in Others

FIFA 08 sold 1.30 million in Others.

Make of that what you will. Especially since, as you said, the UK's buying trends are more similar to the USA than Europe.

People considered PES a better game back then.

Not at all. It's perfectly rational to like a game that isn't good. Hell, we do it all of the time.

I hate the Ghost Recon games, but I love the Dynasty Warriors series. It'd be completely idiotic for me to say that Dynasty Warriors is a good game or a good series.

Killzone 2 have a 91 score on metacritic, its nothing like Dynasty warriors

And I'd almost venture to say that I liked the early DW games as much as Kilzone 2. Of course, KZ2 is a better game, but because you like it more, doesn't make it better.

Indeed, they did. But I don't remember mentioning PES.

The last we've seen of FIFA vs. CoD in Europe, CoD was the winner. We can't know the current state of both brand names until MW2 releases, and outsells FIFA 10's entire LTD in a week

Maybe not on PS3, but certainly on PlayStation. FIFA sells very strongly in the UK representing something like 50% of the sales (FIFA 10 has sold over 1m in the UK, 2.4m overall). CoD is less than that I think. The thing to remember is that FIFA still sells quite well on PS2, FIFA 09 sold 1.95m on PS2, compared to 2m on 360 and 2.36m on PS3

I do. CoD4 was fun for a while but then certain aspect of the game annoyed me to hell.
