Killzone 2 was good and Uncharted 2 was amazing but oh man MW2 is on another level. I'm going to be playing the hell out of that.

nah, actually... i might be the black sheep here, but seeing uncharted made me think what they can do with Syphon Filter.
i miss that game..

I still can't wait for MW2 and Uncharted 2 is by far my GotY so far.

Killzone 2 had the graphics and a killer single player, but i never really got into the online aspect. The problem with Killzone 2 though, was they used the PS3 to make the graphics top notch, and i personally think they wanted top graphics more than they wanted top gameplay. If they could have spared a bit of that graphical power and made the gameplay more smooth, i would probably still be playing it today.

Uncharted 2 for me has perfect graphics AND gameplay though... The online is also fun as hell.

As for CoD, it has some of the the best gameplay out there, the graphics are nice on the eyes and the online is addictive as hell for me.

So no, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 haven't lowered my anticipation.

If anything, they have made me expect MORE from Modern Warfare 2.

What are your thoughts Naz?

I'm not hugely excited or interested in MW2, but mostly cause of no dedicated servers on PC.

As for the other 2 games, I didn't like KZ2 and I love Uncharted 2, which is my current most played console game online.

Good point.
Well..I haven't seen much Cod MW 2 gameplay viedeos or even screenshots, and its not done yet.
But if Ps3 version ain't superior (Like Dragon Age) I don't think it has chance vs Uncharted 2.

Whats MW2? D:

Uncharted 2 has curbed my enthusiasm for FPS that are action only orientated (i.e. MW2) to an extent, and to be honest CoD:Waw curbed my enthusiasm for MW2 even more - I'm just feeling CoDD'ed out at the moment.

I really, really like the SP campaign and approach in Uncharted 2 and also very much enjoy the online coop. Haven't messed about with MP much yet, but I tried plunder and that was fun.

I'll still probably buy the bugger, even though I never got into the MP on CoD4, although I'll probably hate myself for giving the money to Activision even allowing for my pre-order discount.

Also, the no-dedicated servers bit for PC has got be against it as it annoys my PC centric roots.

Still, judging by pre-orders billions are thirsting for it, and at least from the looks of the trailers, etc. it's going to be decent rather than the cinematic travesty of something like Transformers 2 raking in the big numbers.

So yes, a bit.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Seems the lack of dedicated PC servers has had a bigger hit than what i thought it would do.

I cant believe Naz started a thread

Too be honest uncharted 2 is the greatest single player campaign I have ever played. Not to sound cheesy but it was a honour playing that game, as for Killzone 2 another quality game the single player really tested me especially near the end. Online was great aswell the only thing that is killing my aniticipation for MW2 is Activision!!

I'm anticipating MW2 i do on all the big releases. As for comparisons to killzone 2, I don't think it will top KZ2 single player, but the online will probably be better on CoD. The 'wow' factor from MW2 will be a little taken away from those two great looking games, that's for sure, and it won't have the same wow as it did for MW1. I'm hoping they surprise me, they just might.
