If they want to rake in the money they should make it for Wii.

I would think, also, that if they were making it a downloadable game, that's not going to do what they want (namely, bring Sonic back to a stronger market relevance). Downloadable games can be good for a franchise, especially for nostalgia purposes (Megaman 9), but dl gaming is still the scrubs of gaming.

Didn't they comment on sales of games they've already released on XBL/PSN?

Seems like they're comfortable with the possible sales they'd get with the just XBL/PSN. I'm sure if they could release it on WiiWare they will, but perhaps just focusing on what they want to make and not being restricted with the WiiWare size limit is fine if they think XBL/PSN sales will suffice.

Should be interesting, definitely looking forward to how this game shapes up. Still, not putting it on a Nintendo platform would be very silly business wise... seeing as Unleashed just passed a million on Wii a few weeks ago (not to mention Secret Rings which is over 2 million).

Still, I'll be getting it no matter what. Can't wait!
