I really couldn't care less about the graphics when it comes to 2-d Mario games.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is still a blast to play and the graphics are nearly 20 years old, NSMBW is fine the way it is

SMB3 are using 2-d sprites though, this game uses 3-d models instead

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

all the players and enemies are gonna be tiny specs on the screen. they don't need 1 million polygons each to look good.

I don't think it would improve the game, no. In fact, I think the graphic style NSMBWii has is fit better than the SMG-graphics-style would be for this particular game.

One thing to be sure was to read the impressions that bought the game. But then even you are curious on what SMG graphics NSMB Wii will look like

From what I've seen no. But very good nonetheless.

Good 2D graphics are always better than mediocre 3D graphics IMO. (Talking about SNES vs. PS1 for example)

From what I've seen (and by the way, this is SMG in 480p VS NSMBW on my computer screen in videos) the 2D parts of SMG don't look a tonne better than what I've seen of NSMBW in terms of technical performance, I could be wrong though, because it's been about a year since I've seen SMG in action.

So no, I think it's fine the way it is
