You know, I'm a fan of the sphere grid and all... but I prefer characters with unique skills. It gives you a reason to try all the characters out.

When I was done playing FFX, everyone was absolutely the same except for the Overdrives and Yuna's Summons. Not fun.

Did you do a lot of grinding? I like characters with unique skills as well and that was part of the reason I liked the Sphere Grid so much. The only character that didn't have a unique section of the sphere grid was Kihmari. Even after major grinding, I only managed to run my characters through two sections of the grid. That was after I had beaten the game and went back to do some of the extra side quests. Part of the reason, I hate FFVII so much is the lack of unique character skill sets due to materia. The Sphere Grid preserves character individuality for the most part. I just hope this Crystalium Growth System has more variety than the license board in FFXII, by the time you get half way through FFXII your characters become identical.

Yes I did. A lot. I do it with almost every JRPG I touch.

I grinded so much that even Lulu was doing 99999... with physical damage. No reason to use magic at all.

So to a gamer like me, all the characters become the same in the end (much like FFVII, VIII and XII). It's not that I don't like that, but I enjoy something like IX or IV (or of course, Chrono Trigger) better. Cuz if the game allows me to max out everyone, that's probably what I'm gonna do.

Can someone explain Grind to me? Because i liked leveling up and to me this is bad news.

Grinding means fightning loads & loads of battles to gain more levels & becoem more powerful

in Pokemon if you got one of your pokemon upto to lvl 100 that was grinding

If you grind you fight battles on PURPOSE

If you don't grind you just fight battles that come your way & no more than that

I find JRPG's VERY hard to finish without "some" grinding

on the other hand khuutra has finished JRPG's without grinding at all.

Most RPGs I don't grind either. The only recent RPG I thought some grinding benefited you was Persona 4. Otherwise I might need to grind for some super bosses but usually grinding doesn't help me much.

Shouldn't you be in school?

What the hell

your school hasn't BLOCKED Vg chartz?

They don't even know what VGC is.

GAF, GoNintendo, GameFAQs etc. aren't blocked either.

Guys, I don't think Soriku is ever going to graduate.
