^i'm not saying i didn't get shot throughout the game. i'm saying that Drake only got shot once in the whole game.

i'm talking story-wise here. he only gets wounded once.

Well, it wouldn't be much fun if he was mortally wounded every chapter, would it?

^my point is that his persona is a laid back fortune hunter, not some professional killer. for a game like call of duty 4 where you kill hundreds of bad guys, it's fine since the persona of your character there is a professional soldier.

to me, it just doesn't fit that he kills hundreds of professional soldiers when he himself isn't even one.

He is quite clearly more than a laid back fortune hunter. He does parkour rolls, jumps 3 metres while hanging, and can climb up the side of a castle using jutting out bricks and vines. He has also robbed at least one museum in the past: He says to Flynn "that (the alarm) wasn't here last time!"

But Batman is shorter than Uncharted 2, doesn't have multiplayer, and Batman doesn't get heavily hurt throughout the entire thing.

Also I heavily disagree with the idea that an ending should hint towards the future, Prince of Persia had a horrible ending because it did just that.

Finally, how fun would it really be if he just got killed instantly because he's not as good of a shot as a trained professional? Uncharted 2 was all about how Drake gets through insane situations based on charm and luck which seems to fit fine with his treasure hunting persona.

edit: I'm fine with the score, it's obviously within reason, but your reasoning for the score is ridiculous.

he obviously has lot of expirience, Cintimani Stone is not his first treasure hunt

^those are skills of an escape artist or a thief. basically, drake is a thief. a very good thief i might add.

but being the best thief in the world doesn't make you able to kill hundreds upon hundreds of professional soldiers (whose sole job is shooting things) while not taking any bullets yourself.

To be fair, we don't actually know his background. In U2, we got to see some darker bits of his background, as we clearly know that he broke into the museum before, and Flynn doesn't seem to be the best of guys himself. On top of that, we know that Drake and Eddie knew eachother before the first game, and I doubt Eddie is from a clean background himself.

Finally, just to add insult to injury, the Eye of Indra only cements that Drake is not afraid to be bad guy (though I wonder what the next episodes will reveal)

He takes plenty of bullets. He just heals from them with his regenerating health. Would you prefer it if they dotted hospitals around the game, and every time you lost health, you had to go to hospital and see the doctor? You would, of course, have to pay, but where do you get the money? Well, you work. Drake could get a job in a bank (also scattered around the game). But he's probably not qualified for that, so there will need to be universities in the game...

Do you see what over-realism does?

Where does it say that Drake has no training whatsoever when it comes to firearms? I must have missed that.

^ you misunderstand what i'm saying.

what i'm saying is that from the bare bones personality we know of drake, he's not Supposed to be able to kill so many soldiers the way he does. the storyline doesn't tell us anything that might suggest that he's superbly adeptly trained in weapons.

so all i'm saying is that i find it strange that he can kill so many professional soldiers when his profile is basically a fortune hunter.
