Well my brother is a GoW fan, and he is coming back from Uni tomorrow, so he'll be the one who is actually happy
About the collection, firstly in reply to me asking about it, they said information concerning the demo and special edition would be coming soon... But I am still expecting to have to buy it when I go to America (I might also get a red controller)

So, after playing it again with my uber-excited glasses put away, the texture work will need a lot of work to match Uncharted, and the environments in general have a lot less going on. Further, the frame-rate appeared to be lower.
But I was Kratos.
And the blood.
Damnit, uber-excited glasses are back on already.

Silliness aside, if the whole game was the quality of that demo, I'd be happy, and it'd get my cash. Still, I'm suprised they went with this old E3 demo given how much good press the new one has been getting.

Well if the resolution is 1080p that's a feat in itself man. Takes a hell of a lot of processing power for a rez that high.
I can't even think of another non-racing game that's in 1080p.

No, I agree entirely. And it was 1080p (or, at least, bloody close to it; it was certainly rendering single pixels sharply on my 1080p TV). I was really impressed, overall, with the graphics. Slightly stunned, in fact. It is, after all, pushing more than twice the pixels of a 720p game.
You think they could have at least made the demo a bit smaller? I have a feeling my nets gonna be capped pretty soon...
