Yesterday night, I was on VGC. The IM, to be specific. I was busy messing up the "loveshack" room and annoying everyone, when suddenly it said that I had left the room, and I wasn't on the list anymore. I hadn't, the room was still open. So, I tried exiting and re-opening, but apparnetly, nobody was in any of the rooms. Odd.

So I went back to the main site, and got some random line of code. I've gotten that before, so I just refreshed. It came back. I googled "vgchartz" and followed that link, and I got a "403, you do not have permission to access this site" error. Being as paranoid as I am, I thought I had been IP banned. But I thought back to what I possibly could have done to warrant that, and there was nothing. Still, I worried.

I was still worried when I went to sleep, and woke up again. I was afraid to even look at the website in case it confirmed that I had been IP banned. So, I would like to thank MetalGearSolid4Ever, because I saw in Outlook that he had sent me a wall post, and of course you can't do that to banned members. So, here I am.

Not a pleasant experience. Was I the only one? This happened at around 11pm British time (midnight GMT).

And why on earth would you think you were IP banned ? You didn't post certain..pictures...with a title of a thread that says "OMG ! AWESOME NEW [insert extremely hyped game here] SCREENSHOTS", did you ?

So, you can be de-IP banned? And don't IP banned people end up with $-60,000 or something, because they're permabanned 30 times?

And I told you, I'm paranoid. Maybe someone else with my IP could have done something?

I had -1900vg$.
but i worked my ass out for the Game DB and won some money in the PL..that got me back to the + values.

About getting redirected to gaf, its probably because only extreme trolls get ip-banned and those horrible people are sent to gaf to cause chaos there as it is ioi's FAVOURITE website.

there were too many awesome people on it at once, it was like a cool overload

so the uncool people were getting temporarily rejected.
