honestly it is interesting because I've been saying for a while that PS3 wouldn't drop like many here were predicting. VGchartz numbers has it doing that and Media Create doesn't. While the difference isn't huge it's important to see the trends of the console. I do believe next week PS3 will have a nice increase and it wont drop below 20k for the rest of the year. I think Wii may dip below 20k at one point.

The 120k isn't even accurate.  I've noticed VGC neglects "the best" releases for some older Japanese games though not always.  Famitsu has it at 207,631 at the end of 2008.  It could be up to ~18k higher because there were 7 months of 2007 before the budget release, but it didn't make the top 500.  It also had stronger sales in 2008, so it may have added something in 2009.

JUST as a reminder guys

FAMITSU & Dengeki both have PS3 around 30K & wii around 25K

They both have PS3 > Wii

So some of us believeing in these numbers weren't completely wrong

weird, I don't remember seeing VGC numbers so far from both MC and Famitsu before.

that is quite a bit off from VGC numbers.. PS3 is definitely undertracked a lot..
