Ok...this is a hard one between the SNES and the PS1.

I'll say PlayStation, as much as it pains me to say so, since I love the SNES as well. Reason for this is that it spawned some of the best games ever created: Crash, Spyro, MGS (been a fan before the PS1 release, as I had an MSX2 PC), FF7, Tekken 3, Resident Evil, Oddworld, etc. the list is long.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

PS1 easy.

Metal Gear Solid, FF7, Crash 1,2,3, Spyro 1,2,3, CTR, Gran Turismo, Tekken. It had some of the best games that revolutionised the genres.

Eastern Europe maybe.... N64, NES and Dreamcast were very common and popular in western EU, particularly UK.

Certainly, but none were as popular as the PS1/PS2, particularly the PS2. I have yet to meet any gamer in the UK who doesn't own a PS2.

SNES

That's the only console I own out of those 4...

And even if owned them all, I think it would still be my favorite console mostly because of awesome games like Super Mario World, DKC (1,2 and 3), Chrono Trigger, Megaman X, Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Harvest Moon, TMNT, EVO and so many more.
