defo had the best software EVER! and will have more Exclusives then anything to come!

Now now, I know it's easy to confuse my awesomeness with the PS2, but my VGBirthday is March 4th.

Awww the likkle PS2 is a nine year old.

Its played host to some amazing games the GTA series going 3d probably being its highlight in a wider world view and lets not forget the game that made the console.

I got my PS2 late in the day and played most of the great games

My personal faves

Burnout Takedown
God of War 1 and 2

Both of those games were gob smacking

There was a fair amount of pain in the early days.

I remember one DEV publicly stating that the SONY SDK released with the system was utter rubbish but it eventually found its feet once the game engines matured.

You cant argue with the sales tho. It was a monster.
I doubt we will see a 100 million plus selling home system any time soon.

Ironically for such a success I think back to the lauch games (Urrgh). Maybe the worst launch day selection in history. Who would have thought what would happen back then.

It will be hard to surpass the PS2, in terms of sales and games

The ps2 is not pleased with this post.

It'll fulfill the 10 tear cycle just as the PS one did before it. Truly an outstanding system, one that will never be forgotten as long as I live.

The PS1 lasted 12 years. Let's see if the PS2 can beat that.
