Oh, I do have a budget, but having those many games hit - and I have to play them, dang. That causes havoc in my household.

I'd rather play games than go to my wife's hometown for Christmas, but hey - that's life.

Why don't you just drop 2 of the 4 things you plan to buy for yourself, can you even play all of those at once? Its not like you can't buy 'em later.

My 2009 checklist is almost complete. NSMB Wii, Brutal Legend, Modern Warfare 2, and Bayonetta are all that I need to finish out the year. And of those, even though I may grab Bayonetta on day 1, NSMB is the only essential game.

And, if I could stop buying games that I don't even intend to play, I could afford my checklist, easily.

That means waiting - and I can't wait. I am very impatient, if you haven't noticed. I'll just donate some sperm and some plasma. According to doctors, I don't fire blanks and all my soldiers march.

@ D21 - you know, I used to use checklists - but doggone, I realized I wanted way too much stuff. Now, I keep it simple - a top 10 list of things I want - like a Gulfstream, a mansion in Bora Bora, an endless supply of KY Jelly ...

KY Jelly? You know, I've been hearing about that stuff for decades, but I've never tried it. Gotta give it a go, one day.

Already paid for my copy of L4D2 ($37 Canadian as I got in on a four pack deal on steam), so apart from PixelJunk Shooter coming out sometime before the end of the year, that's about it for me. Surely I'll impulse buy something else, but many of the games I've been looking forward to are now Q1-Q2 releases.

Actually donating sperm is not such a bad idea, whenever you feel the urge to buy stuff, simply do a few rounds of "sperm donation", and you'll be too tired to want to do anything at all, theres not even the need to pull them pants up, incase you feel any futher urges teehee.

Just NSMBW, Bit. Trip VOID, and one or 2 VC games for me.
