I absolutely agree with the first sentence. The problem is the current reality where it is hard to be taken seriously and these games make it worse. There isn't enough professionalism. It seems as though games are made by whims and semi-conscious desires and fantasies of men who forgot to grow up.

There aren't enough women in the industry, we need their visions and input. The scoring system should be used as every other is, 5 as the average, yet people can't help themselves in hyping everything. The people working in game design, script writing, interface desgin, etc, should have formal education. If you're creating looks for characters, you should consult fashion advisers, if you're creating a game set in the 1800's, you should consult historical records.

I disagree with everything except that it would be nice to have more women in the industry and perhaps the scoring system.  I have enjoyed far too many games from people without a formal education for me to require it for game makers, likewise I don't think it is at all necessary to be as accurate as to consult fashion designers. 

And sure there are some games like this that seem to be made based on men's baser desires, but they are not the majority.  There was never anything even remotely sexual about the interactions in Ico, Psychonauts, Demon's Souls, and Katamari Damacy.  Games like Ar Tonelico 3 are not the rule, they're the exception.

also i like to note i played Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia , even though it got hilarious "Sexual" scenes , it isn't made for horny dudes, its actually more on the girly side.

its a beautiful game the guys who made it weren't thinking "oh lets make everyone sexual to sell more". i'd hope this is true to this too.

the game is clearly made for girls before guys , its also too easy.
