Just because an industry grows up doesn't mean there's no place for a game like this. Yes they have alot of sexual connotations, but that's what makes them so hilarious. Ar Tonelico 2 was exactly the same way, and it was funny as hell. @Millenium: I see nothing from the current information that I didn't expect, so what exactly did they change that ruined it for you as a fan of the first two titles? |
I absolutely agree with the first sentence. The problem is the current reality where it is hard to be taken seriously and these games make it worse. There isn't enough professionalism. It seems as though games are made by whims and semi-conscious desires and fantasies of men who forgot to grow up.
There aren't enough women in the industry, we need their visions and input. The scoring system should be used as every other is, 5 as the average, yet people can't help themselves in hyping everything. The people working in game design, script writing, interface desgin, etc, should have formal education. If you're creating looks for characters, you should consult fashion advisers, if you're creating a game set in the 1800's, you should consult historical records.
Less hobbie, more industry.
