No, we do not have the capacity to know everything.  Especially when dealing with infinites.  But one could argue, is there an infinite amount of knowledge?

Well, it is probable that it, if one has an incredibly in depth knowledge of my body, my decision in your scenario can be easily obtained.  We are all just incredibly complex functions.

Well lets say knowing a language is consider knowledge. I can make English+A, by adding the letter A to every where. I can make the language, English+AA by adding AA to every word. With that, I have essentially created a new knowledge. If we consider knowing a number to be a knowledge, then it'll be infinite.

Now if we as humans are able to hold infinite knowledge, probably not, if the nature of memory is tied in with physical things (cells, etc). But my point was, with the weight lifting, having the capacity and capaibility doesn't actually elevate you up to that status of being able to do it O.o I'm able to be able to lift 1000 pounds XD It's just a matter of the English language and awkwardness. Being able alone isn't it, you have to actually be able to lift it at the momment, not be able to be able to lift it... you get my drift? XD (I know, it's awkward and confusing).

Well, I guess you are already omniscient since you have just created infinite knowledge and just lost your free will :)

As for your weight lifting scenario, I am not particularly sure what your point is.  I think capable is the capacity to be able.

It's not a stupid question. It's actually a rather efficient way of making people realize how stupid it is to assume the existence of an omnipotent being.

As for the question, trying to apply the term lift to a god is not possible. To answer the question, we would first need to ask, does a god follow the same laws of physics as everyone else. If yes, then creating a rock would break them. If no, then lifting something infinite could be trivial.

Yes he can create a rock that he can’t lift, he has done it before…read the bible he always puts limits on himself. Look at the flood, I will not do this again and the rainbow is a sign of my commitment

Can god create a flood to cover the earth yes, is he able to no….
Or look at free will, he let us gain that knowledge and while he is able to manipulate our free will he can’t force us to choice something we don’t want

i dont know why Christians feel the need to make a limitless god, since he can change his mind that means he is capable of making mistakes
Does that make him any less powerful?

Well I have free will since I don't think my creation was planned out with knowledge of what my actions will be O.o

I also don't have infinite knowledge, because I was arguing against "capacity=status of being" (being capable of becoming a 1000 pound lifter doesn't actually make me one now).

I'm able (become) to be able (do) lift a 1000 pounds. Doesn't make me at the momment, able (do) lift a 1000 pounds.

We go into a pretty long discussion about it, so you will find more detailed explaination with each post you read and the arguments presented, but here is the link to that topic a LONG time ago.
