Did enjoy more games for N64 it was greater. Though FF7 converted me away from nintendo. Still I did play way more games for my N64 that I really enjoyed. Vivo Nintendo 64!!! Peace!!

I found myself buying more games on the PS. My favorite games of the generation were probably on the N64 though. So they were both equally great, for different reasons.

While the N64's AAA games are better, the sheer volume of solid A and AA ps1 games makes it very close.

N64- Mario 64, Banjo and Kazooie 1 and 2, Conkers, Jet Force Gemini, OOT and Majoras Mask, 007, Perfect Dark, Turok 1 and 2, Smash Bros., Wave race, F-Zero, S. Mario Kart, 1080, Star Fox, Killer Instinct, Paper Mario…

PS1- Wipeout 1- 3, Crash Bandicoots 1-3, FF7, FF8, FF9, Parasite Eve, Vandal Hearts, Castlevania SOTN and Chronicles, Fear Effect 1 and 2, Silent Hill, RE 1-3, Dino Crisis, Heart of Darkness, Odd World 1 and 2, Doom and Final Doom, Legacy of Kain, Soul Reaver, Tomb Raider 1 and 2, Ape Escape, Bloody Roar, Jumping Flash, Medievil 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid, Twisted Metal, R-types and delta, N2O, Nanotech Warrior, Einhander, Warhawk, etc….

Looking at the above lists I can safely conclude that if you owned only one of these systems than you missed out! By the way forgive me if I missed ur favorite. Also, at the time N64 was defiantly my favorite so....

N64's top games were all better than PSX's top games, but I'm a JRPG freak and that's where the N64 was seriously lacking and loosing big time. I think that if only Nintendo went with CD media, then N64 would have been the best around during that gen and we might not even have PS3 or the 360 right now, would have been very different in the gaming world lol. I liked both of them btw, used them for different games.
