Are you krazy!
It cost less than $200 to make (they did a cheap port) they made there money back with the first 5 games sold, thats a MAJOR success.

Boom Blox has the word "Boom" in it
that sounds like "Boob" & sounds like a bomb exploding
do you really think parents would buy this for their children trollstoppable?!
| axumblade said: I think I understand! Boom Blox was presented by Stephen Speilberg. Stephen Speilberg is mainl known for his directing, including the movie E.T., E.T. was a video game on the Atari. E.T. was also rumored to be one of the reasons for the video game crash of 83! Therefore Boom Blox is Stephen Speilbergs attempt to cause a video game crash so more people go see his movies. |
Omg you are right! It even has Boom in the title! I knew the name + Spielberg should've tipped me off.

Boom Blox was a fine game, you have to accept it, Rol.

Sorry, I didn't read the OP, as I came in here to watch the trolling/meltdowns.

I don't understand. They took a game that almost sold a million, had the backing of Spielberg, added not only "Party" to the title, but "BASH PARTY" (that's 2 types of parties at once), added downloadable puzzles and more options, and it flopped?
Whoa. We do need to talk about this. This could mean a lot for the future of 3rd party Wii development. I heard this game was a test.
i like the second game Bash Party, its crazy fun. Even more fun with more players.
I know this is a sarcastic thread and all, but I recently got Boom Blox for cheap, and I think it's a pretty good game. I will get the 2nd game next year for cheap too. :3
Pop the cork!!! It's time to party!!!
The reason that the original one sold well is because many gamers, such as myself, were tricked by the media and worst of all other gamers into thinking that it was a great game. The sequel didn't sell well because people figured out that the original game was about as enjoyable as taking a bath in lemon juice with a trillion paper cuts.

Did you know that Boom Blox Bash Party has retained it's value better than almost any other video game currently on the market? You can buy it new for $30 and sell it used for $28 easily.
