Forums - Sony - Namco thanks Japanese 360 Tales of Vesperia owners for being beta trialists

This makes me smile

I now LOL at timed "exclusives" of every shape and form.

Yeah that was a stupid move, but as far as I can get the game significantly earlier I don't care about small improvements.

You must not know what is added into the PS3 version.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

It seems that no one has noticed this yet, but is this on the Japanese booklet or the upcoming American booklet(since the game is not out yet for NA).
If this thing is in Japanese, it is not an insult at all.
Japanese people love saying sorry, and I dont think Japanese 360 user will get offended with this.
Just a little bit cultural diffirences here.

On the other hand, i think it is MS that messed thing up. I'm totally ok with MS shooting moneys out to get timed exclusive, but please STATE that clearly for gamers.
In case of ToV or ES or Bio, we gamers nearly have no clue about the PS3 version at all at the time the 360 version was launched.
Developers should make these timed exclusive clear to gamers, then let us decide whenever we want it earlier(360 version) or a more complete game(PS3 version) or both if we're nuts enough~~~~

Good luck to the devs if they ever decide to make another 360 game. I predict a massive sales failure and boycotts from angry ex-fans.

But what you fail to see is that most of the time Microsoft won't know about it or they have a deal that says a port can't be announced till such and such date.

If they told us that it would be coming out on another platform then people may wait . They want people to think that it only available on that platform

And welcome to the Chartz =)

The problem with that is if you tell people a superior version will be on another system a year later, they may be willing to wait depending on the game.

Honestly I am glad I got the chance to play it first, but It's cool Sony gets to experience one of the best JRPG's ever. The problem is there is still no announcement of a US version.

It's just that simple.

Thank you for the warm welcome ^^,

Well, I am aware of deals that prevent devs from announce the game for PS3. But I think it is not always that case.

Even if they told us there is another version coming out, i think it would not hurt the sales much, because we're all gamers and we know what is in our heart right? Ha ha that's it. We just cannot wait. I think majority of gamers that want that particular game will just go out and grab whatever version coming to them first.

Namco Bandai, what a shitty company.

Maybe that would apply to shooter fans or something, but JRPG fans? We're the most pacient kind of gamer ever.
