as for the blade, (my guess) Titans want to use it to make them more powerful, but Kratos wants to use it to kill zeus, so Titans turn on him and steal it, thats why they're attacking each other.

He didn't want to destroy Athens. He wanted to kill some things to let out his anger, and cause some damage to a city to piss off Zeus in the process, and it wasn't Athens, it was Rhodes.
