Forums - Nintendo - What Nintendo Console is your all-time favorite? A Nintendo Celebration!!

@Bobbuffalo - The NES was a great console no doubt, but this is a poll asking which console is your favorite, and have had the most fun on.
Not which system made the most impact in the gaming world.

I think Nintendo should re-release some old consoles...as like a limited anniversary addition or something...I'd totally buy them.

While I agree with Bobbuffalo with how NES should have won, the thread title might suggest otherwise and give the ppl the freedom to vote for what they want. From that alone I don't think I should be allowed to argue much here. But I kinda agree with what you said, in itself.

NES - 4?!

That just means 2 things:

1-the majority of users may be so young that they think that gaming started with the Playstation

2.-Videogamers became ungrateful and forgot their roots.

Both are sad and dissapointing.

Thanks to the NES we have gaming as we know it.
Thanks to the NES console gaming didn't died.
Thanks to the NES we had the Gameboy
Thanks to the SNES Nintendo made their trilogy of errors (VB, N64, GC)
Thanks to the SNES games became "hardcore"

*shakes head*

As you may see bellow in my sig, I KNOW MY ROOTS! Damn, my first Nintendo memories were the first Game & Watch in the early 80s, i was 11 years old when my father came back from Singapore with what was an incredible gift back in these days: noone had any of these in my country, and i was like a king in my school with my cool new toys...

Now, if someone asks me: what is your favourite Nintendo's handheld, no, i won't answer the Game & Watch... just like i didn't answer NES in this case... ungrateful? Give me a break... nostalgia isn't everything, and life goes on...

If you're a true Nintendo's fan, you should have more respect for other fan's opinions, and not react like some kind of snob, or elitist retro gamer, whose opinion is way better than the ones of hundreds of gamers, who love games just like yourself, not more, not less...

SNES games became "hardcore"? Trilogy of errors? You take all this way too far, and way too seriously... you should maybe take a break, and play your favourite NES games more often... or less often, it depends: maybe it's not good for your health, i don't know...

lololol Because the N64 and GCN were errors.

Oh I am sorry but were those consoles succesful?!

The N64 is the best home console ever, so I'd fucking say so. Now piss off, and stop ruining the thread.

Super nintendo bitches

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

The Super Nintendo easily for me. That's probably my favorite console of all time.

Super Mario RPG, Zelda LTTP, Chrono Trigger, FF4, and FF6 were all on it.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
