| Bobbuffalo said: NES - 4?! That just means 2 things: 1-the majority of users may be so young that they think that gaming started with the Playstation 2.-Videogamers became ungrateful and forgot their roots. Both are sad and dissapointing. Thanks to the NES we have gaming as we know it. Thanks to the NES console gaming didn't died. Thanks to the NES we had the Gameboy Thanks to the SNES Nintendo made their trilogy of errors (VB, N64, GC) Thanks to the SNES games became "hardcore" *shakes head* |
As you may see bellow in my sig, I KNOW MY ROOTS! Damn, my first Nintendo memories were the first Game & Watch in the early 80s, i was 11 years old when my father came back from Singapore with what was an incredible gift back in these days: noone had any of these in my country, and i was like a king in my school with my cool new toys...
Now, if someone asks me: what is your favourite Nintendo's handheld, no, i won't answer the Game & Watch... just like i didn't answer NES in this case... ungrateful? Give me a break... nostalgia isn't everything, and life goes on...
If you're a true Nintendo's fan, you should have more respect for other fan's opinions, and not react like some kind of snob, or elitist retro gamer, whose opinion is way better than the ones of hundreds of gamers, who love games just like yourself, not more, not less...
SNES games became "hardcore"? Trilogy of errors? You take all this way too far, and way too seriously... you should maybe take a break, and play your favourite NES games more often... or less often, it depends: maybe it's not good for your health, i don't know...
