Please explain how Uncharted 2 is better than Super Mario Bros 3.

Ocarina is superior

Super Mario Bros 3 and Ocarina of Time are genre/gameplay defining games. They are fathers of games that came after. They had become Hours Concours. Uncharted 2 is mastering of a genre - adventure action.

personally i didn't like Ocarina as much as others and i didn't like FFVII as much as others too
what funny is that i like the other games in that series more, say i liked majora's mask more, and i liked FFVIII more than VII
so to each his own.

There is NO such thing as best game ever. Why? Well someones faveourite genre might be beat em ups. No matter how many good reviews an action game might get, To the beat em up fan it will NEVER be the best game ever. Same goes for a racing enthusiast or an JRPG lover. Or a WRPG lover. OR a FPS lover or a TPS lover.

Uncharted 2 falls into action/adventure. So it may be the best action/adventure game ever? But can never be the best game ever. There is no such thing.

Highest rated and best are too very different things.

I think we can ultimately agree on what the highest rated game is, Gamerankings and Metacritic do a reasonable job of that. We will however never reach a concensus on what is the greatest game of all time.

Forget scores and reviews...
Play the game and discover that it is the best of this generation.

Ucharted 2 only make everything.

I know it has nothing to do with the subject. But what you said made me remember of a phrase spoken in one of the greatest games of all time.
