I was checking out a couple topics, in the MS section, and I see posts from folks that own a PS3, but not a 360.

Now, folks can see where the OP is coming from, huh? If I go into the Nintendo forum and see a person constantly posting there and they own a PC and a PSP, what in the world can they tell me? Of course that's not always true, but it does make you wonder why some people who don't own a system post in that certain section.

well, maybe they just havent added the games to their profile. i havent added any ps3 games to mine, so the tag doesnt show up. (someone could also easily add games when they dont own the system and it will add the tag)

Because people will be prone to talk falsely about other systems, games on those systems and the owners of those systems will need to defend it. Filtering out people who don't own systems should not be a criteria of not posting to a particular portion of a website, that how community fail.

My advice to anyone who wants to be a successful troll here, don't add games to your profile.

Since it's only based off the games in the profiles, I'd rather just keep it turned off. After seeing it in another thread on how to turn it off, -Go to the quick links and select edit profile. -Under the 'Basic Info' options, scroll down to "Hide console tags in forums" and select it. -Lastly, save your changes There you go. For whatever reason there aren't any spaces on my post, but they're here when I edit it.

And by you going out of the way to background check people who post and what systems they have says more about you, to me, than those who do the posting. You dont know their situation.

All consoles/handhelds suck.
