His "defense" is that he didn't know he would be banned? Really? Good riddance then. Blatantly breaking the rules for no reason other than you think you can get away with it is absurd. There are reasons for the rules, and reasons for the punishments. This cannot be viewed as acceptable even if the member apologizes.
