Yet its an expansion, and its sold better than the games you were pumping up in less than 3 weeks?  How is it on its way out and the games you stated not on their way out too?  You can try and twist the sales into what ever demented way you like, they still will not point to the Halo series "failing"....

I find it absurd that people thinking a game thats 3 weeks old and sold 3 million is anything other than an absolute godsend to its franchise.

txrattlesnake: Just take a look at the sales of Halo 3 and stop talking nonsens. It had the same sales pattern as ODST has, and it made up to 10 mln in less than 2 years.

It depends on the legs that single game have.

It outsold Killzone 2 LTD in it's first week on sale. Yet you big up KZ3 expecting it to outdo Halo Reach?

I highly doubt it.

There was a 3 year gap between Halo 2 and 3 allowing a lot of hype to build. That kind of hype build up won't be there for reach 1 year after OSDT and will be competing with significantly more FPS's then Halo 3 ever had to contend with.
