Girls don't want "sensitive guys who'll cry" as stated in the OP. Trust me. The want jerks, douches, guys who'll punch them in the face, rich guys, guys who'll take care of their babies, or guys with big schlongs.....or cops. A metro-guy may get a girl, but as soon as one of the aforementioned comes along, there she goes!

It's kind of a wide gap between the sloppy guy who doesn't give a toss what they look like and that guy the article starts with.

There is really nothing going against a man showering and having good skin, and some smart clothes, and it doesn't get anywhere near to sounding like some dumb blonde/bored housewife/cosmopolitan freak stereotype.

I don't get sexuality culture... the only thing people should be doing based on their sexuality is fucking whatever they want, not dressing things, shouting "X pride!", etc.

Conforming due to your sexuality only gives credence to stereotypes.

I've stopped watching South Park this half season. It's just become such a pool of recent pop culture references and parodies like Family Guy and Robot Chicken. I don't watch fucking reality shows so stop parodying them like you did in the Nanny episode >.< Arghhhhhh

It also sucked when they were trying to force political messages, like in the AIDs episode (the money being the cure was so lame because it was so direct and obvious).

Metrosexuals... yeah, that was a fun time for me. I shaved only to let out my sideburns but I was proud of my chesthair, and the fact that I laughed all the way through the end of Titanic. As you can imagine, I was glad I was still living far away from the big city where I'd sure be the most unfashionable kid in the neighbourhood.

I'm glad the alfa-man is back now. The hunter type. The kind that still cares for the girl yet will let his full masculinity out as well as his chest-hair which is actually a plus.

As D21Lewis said, girls want a guy they can feel safe with. Not necessarily the jerk persé is my experience but just a guy that can be a man, strong, selfless, a knight as it were. As it should be. Not the type of man that will cry as soon as a fight breaks out...

In general gender strereotypes in general are bullshit.

Metrosexuality should go away in that there should be no term for it.

People should feel free to act however the hell they want.
