Metrosexuals... yeah, that was a fun time for me. I shaved only to let out my sideburns but I was proud of my chesthair, and the fact that I laughed all the way through the end of Titanic. As you can imagine, I was glad I was still living far away from the big city where I'd sure be the most unfashionable kid in the neighbourhood.
I'm glad the alfa-man is back now. The hunter type. The kind that still cares for the girl yet will let his full masculinity out as well as his chest-hair which is actually a plus.
As D21Lewis said, girls want a guy they can feel safe with. Not necessarily the jerk persé is my experience but just a guy that can be a man, strong, selfless, a knight as it were. As it should be. Not the type of man that will cry as soon as a fight breaks out...
