As long as each group attempts to be respectful or at least stay to their own boards on the forum I can live with it.

More seriously, back to topic (if there's one, i'm still not sure): this is the only "multiplatform" gaming site i read from time to time, all my other favourite gaming websites are "Nintendo-only": Go Nintendo, Nintendo Life, UK Official Nintendo Magazine...

There's a lot of nice people around here, plus a lot of informations, well written articles, and less trolls than in all the other "big" gaming sites...

Anyway, i had a better time on the site two years ago, especially on the forums: the topics created were really interesting, and a lot of the people involved had something meaningful to say... many members i used to read are now gone, and i miss these days. All that came with the participation of more and more Sony fanboys, very silent at the start of the generation (i wonder why - /sarcasm), and who now are very vocal, and not always in the best way...

But the big guys who run the site have no bias, the mods are usually OK and ban people only for a very good reason, and most Nintendo fans here are very friendly, and some are even very funny, so...

This kind of argument just says that polls are stupid and pointless because they will only show the % of Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft fans. There are Sony fans voting for Link, Nintendo fans voting for Master Chief and Microsoft fans voting for Snake, you know...

I'm probably wrong, but I refuse to believe reality sucks that much.

VG probably banned you for abusing the forums, how many replies did you make on the thread? It almost seemed like you replied to every person there, or maybe you exceeded the number of post allowed per day, or maybe you were trying to keep it on the home page, which all points to abuse. I'm just guessing, not that I know.

And besides it's a tired topic to be honest, Nintendo won in terms of consoles sold, so who cares, not like MS / Sony is going bankrupt, all 3 consoles are making money now. Overall video games is a mofo-kingly healthy business right now, which is totally awesome.

If that were the case, Darth would be permabanned by now.

Prof, I hate to burst your bubble, but VGchartz is not anti Wii. I really don't see an "anti" bias anywhere, I do see a "pro" bias, and that would be a definite leaning towards the PS3. Your mistake was not putting "imo" after your statement, or making it very clear that you were being sarcastic. Had you done either of those things I highly doubt you would have gotten banned.

I know I should defer to you, seeing as how you've been banned a lot more than I have and that has helped you gain experience in the ways of surviving bannagement, but I don't see why sarcasm should be made more clear than it already is. Sarcasm is supposed to be a sort of fake reply. Additionally, I also don't see how mine could possibly have been taken seriously, or even how "imo" is supposed to be some mystical ban shield allowing anyone to say anything without repurcussion.
