This game was a disaster for me, anyway better luck next year.
That 1 million week is definately within the margin of error :p. The question is wether you had claimed your right if it had been let's say 980k. Anyway congratz to you. I can still see you or darkjonnyx winning this, so try not to act too supprised will you.

2 weeks left yet, and remember the more important figures are the more up to date ones rather than the "originals" which have been used so far.... I will check the updated VGC figures when the 10 weeks is up to see what the differences are, but we won't know for sure who wins until Mayish.... (in other words a good couple of weeks after the yearly financial results are up, so that I can take the figures as final, knowing they will not deviate much more than 1% in any future adjustments)
FML!!!!!! lol.

Play Me
Yes... Wii has seen the most major adjustments to the past two weeks, although I think it has worked out to be about the same for the two weeks combined (about 15k increase) week 6 was adjusted upwards quite a bit, while last week (week 7) downwards about the same amount.
The graph of it's sales does look odd though.... as if Black Friday happaned a week later for the Wii.
That Walmart $50 giftcard deal obviously increased Wii's sales in the 2 weeks after Black Friday and was a better deal than available for Wii on Black Friday itself. Taking that into account you would expect a different pattern than normal around Black Friday.
Ah, I see (I didn't know about that giftcard... I remember there was one for the X360 but that was before BF)

You're correct about there being one for the Xbox before BF, that was the one that screwed up almost everybody's Xbox 360 predictions in week 2 And there was actually also another Walmart $50 giftcard deal for the Xbox Elite running from December 13-19, so they actually had 2 giftcard deals for Xbox 360 this holiday.
