No one wants to discuss this thread with you because it makes no sense. This sold almost half a million week 1, and will likely gon on to sell ~4 million. That is a fine percentage. Comparing to Halo or Gears 2 is foolhardy, because games that catch on like that are very rare. Basically, Gears 2 is a sales anomaly, regardless of marketing. If you can't see this, you haven't been here long enough and need to have talks with ioi personally to get a better handle on how sales work.
