Both so that mine don't show, and that I cannot see others. I'm having trouble enough as it is to keep from thinking of people as fanboys without having their actual affiliation plastered all over the conversation. Please, let me turn this off!

As strange as that sounds, that's EXACTLY how I feel. I like to get to know someone through their posts, now I'm going to have a reason to automatically judge a person without necessarlly reading what they have to say just by looking at what they own and don't own. I hate this feature and I don't want to know what consoles you own.

Dont judge a book by its cover

Ever hear of first impressions? It cannot be avoided, we are only human afterall.

I believe the point is that people make their signatures by their own choices: the only way to control these buttons is by removing games from one's collection. If someone posts "XBOX360 RULEZ" in their signature, there's no avoiding their proclivities anyway.

Unless you turn off signatures, like me.

Well I guess that is something you will have to deal with then.  I dont let first impressions get in the way of trying to get to know someone.

Pretty cool.

I guess people that play PC games will always have it in front, eh? Tough for any console to compete with decades of games.

I'll have to complete my collection later... I suppose I'll add the games I disliked onto the list.

I think it is a great idea to know where other users stand.

But if you do that, you are much more likely to take what people say less seriously if they appear biased against you. It will make it easier to dismiss people as fanboys too rabid to know what they are talking about. I already have trouble taking what some of the people here say seriously because of this.

If you want to know, fine. But I don't. I want to be left out of it. I don't want people to judge me by my games collection statistics, and I don't want to judge others by that statistics either. I turned off Signatures partly because that's where people proclaim their loyalty. I hated checking the signature of the person every time to see if I could possibly agree with his opinion.

This is invisible text!

Alright, I've added some of my games. not all, but some.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I'm adding you and Khuutra as friends just because you both share my mentality on this issue.

Talonman please add a toggle button.
