@slowmo: It did sell systems, though. Plus, keep in mind this is exclusive. Modern Warfare 2 isn't.

Uncharted doesn't appeal to Japan.....but I dunno it may.

The real question is EU....if it does a 20K spike there to PS3 will be at 260K +

& IF the Japan sales were DOWN due to the typhoon, PS3 could be as high as 265K +

it was a category 1, I doubt it affected things too much..

In the other thread when we discussed whether it would be I said I don't consider a game a system seller without a huge bump.  25% can be attributed to increased advertising and bundling not the game itself driving sales forward.  Of course the game will have encouraged some people to buy a console but in my opinion a system seller should be at least a 50% bump and ideally close to 100% week 1.  I believe MW2 has the potential to bump both HD consoles by 50% week 1. 

So nope I dont consider U2 isn't a system seller just because MW2 will be bigger.  I guess by all your definitions ODST, Forza 3, Halo Wars, SFIV, etc, etc were system sellers which I personally believe is garbage as the title should be reserved for special games each generation that really drive game sales.  So far the only titles that get that honour are COD4, Halo 3, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, MGS4 imo.

Seriously rather than actually prove MY opinion wrong on facts you now resort to rather sad baiting tactics without any disproving the logic of my post. Good for you guys, pat yourselves on the back.  Also this atual thread shouldn't have been started given we had one on the subject already anyway.  We can now expect another thread revisiting all the same arguments over and over again.

Still no actual debating going on there CGI. I will take your advice though and leave the rest of you to it. I'll go and enjoy playing Unchartered 2 rather than waste my time trying to be civil with you.  At least I'm honest enough to admit I have a bias to one of the systems I own, you're deluded pretending you're not heavily in favour of your PS3.  By the way go back as far as you like in my posts and see when the last time I declared a 360 game a system seller, good luck finding it.

If you had any logic we would be able to argue against it.
