i think the next Villain should be Lara Croft, and Drake should team up with his Father (Indiana Jones) and race her to find the Toenails of Buddha!

humm... Egypt sounds fine, but I try to find some new ideas:

1. Maybe some Magelan treasure
2. Hidden Nazi treasure in Berlins underground
3. There are a lot of legendary Islands around the world - maybe he discovers one

Egypt would be a nice one and im sure sand and rocks would seem boring but lets not forget that its Naughty Dog. They make everything look better lol.

I would also like to see maybe something that deals with the lost city of Atlantis.

I second the idea of the next one being in Atlantis. Only thing is that I hope they don't do too much swimming stuff.

The problem I have with Atlantis is that in my head, it's still so connected to Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis, which was one of the best adventures ever (in my opinion). So if they don't want to get even closer to Indy, it might be smart to look for a different setting.

Egypt is definitely a good idea, but I also would welcome something about European myths... I'm sure there could be some stuff in scandinavia (for example the vikings discovery of America, something connected to northern mythology), but I also could imagine digging up some stuff about Stonehenge. Turkey could also be an interesting location, since it's so rich of history (Osman Empire, Anatolia in general etc.)

There are so many ideas from history. Let's see, I think the Atlantis idea is brilliant and could potentially draw on lots of different aspects of history and lots of different locations. Having the next game based around the Mediteranean would be very cool as you could have a nice variety of locations:

Egypt, possibly leading into African Savannah
Pompey/ other Roman provinces
Greece
and of course Atlantis itself which could be heavily water based.

I like both the Egypt and Atlantis idea, especially Atlantis, a ton could be done on that.

And yeah that Fountain Of Youth idea mentioned earlier wouldn't work because... they already found it in Uncharted 2 :P lol

I think Egypt would be great. Nathan can also visit ancient Babylon moving on to Greece and Rome.

It can be based on some bible treasure stuff which will allow ND to use all these locations.

By the way Egypt has some lush areas along the Nile and is not all sand and desert... at least it did when I visited a few years back.

That was the Tree of Life, the fountain is a different thing
