Forums - Gaming - The PS3 and X360 True System Exclusives List

Lol. Why is Metal gear online count as a stand alone game??? Does that mean Halo 3 multiplayer is a stand alone game?
Also all Ninja Gaiden games should be removed.
This list will be dominated by 360 games for sure once the OP updates it.

Does this even matter?

Are you buying games just because they are exclusives?

How many of those exclusives are even good?

THE MAIN THINg is that for a PS3 only owner, or for a Xbox 360 only owner even a multiplat is like an exclusive as they can only buy it on the console they have.

For me there is no difference between FF13 or FF Versus 13......as far as I'm concerned I can play both only on my PS3.

YES SIPERIRORZ GRAPHIX!

Haze destroys everything that Xbox has to offer!

Wikipedia has 360 listed with about 35 or so more exclusive games than PlayStation 3. So untill this list reflects that this list is pretty much wrong.

Careful, some people think Wiki is the worst source to trust, particularly on video game related topics...

Ok, true enough, I didn't actually have time to read the full lists of games. But it seemed fairly accurate. I'm gonna have a second look.

Edit - You are right, that list wouldn't apply here because it has PSN ans XBLA titles.

Now, he says if a game is ONLY on one platform it counts, but he didn't fully take into effect that, an updated version of a game (Dead Rising on Wii...)

"Update."

Yes, that is a fine way to describe Chop 'Til You Drop.

Edit: Beaten.

How you feel about the game itself is your opinion, so be it. It IS NOT an opinion, however, that Dead Rising is available on another platform. I swear, it'd make more sense for me to bang my head on a wall...

You're right, it's not an opinion that Dead Rising is available on anything but the 360; it's a fact that it isn't.

Modding and re-skinning Resident Evil 4 with a Dead Rising theme does NOT make that game Dead Rising. I seriously question your statement that you've played both games. Anyone who has can tell you, five minutes in, that the games are not the same. Anyone who's willing to be honest can tell you that the similarities end with the plot and the map. This isn't a case where one title is just a lower-res version of the other; the interface is completely different, the gameplay is completely different, the way you play the game is completely different, the importance of the clock is completely different, damn near everything but the superficialities is completely different! If I make a mod of Oblivion, and slap on the plot and skins of A Link to the Past, I have not recreated A Link to the Past. And that is, in essence, what Capcom did to Chop 'Til You Drop.

Beat your head against the wall on this one dude. It couldn't hurt, and it might even get you to see the obvious. Or continue to try and say that they're the same, just to make one column in a pointless thread a little longer than the other column. I don't care anymore. I've wasted enough time here.

I think it's stupid to discount many xbox exclusives because they are also on PC. This is a console war and a PC is not a console. If PS3 exclusives could be played on PSP then you would see the actual games on there, not spinoffs (see LBP). A PC can easily handle games that are made for consoles. So really, this is just distorting things because MS has a clear advantage in being able to horde content relevant to it's own platforms. Oh, and you forgot Too Human!

The average customer doesn't know all the specifications about what Chop Till You Drop may/may not have. They just know that if they want to pick up a Dead Rising game, and only own the Wii, they can do so...

I didn't think I'd have to explain it that far, but oh well...

The average consumer does not visit forums either. And everyone here should know that there is enough difference in between the two to call it an exclusive.
