This can easily make it into the top 20. It'll do ~200k for the month, so I don't see how it'll be left out.

For reference, the #10 game in Oct 2008 according to NPD was Dead Space (X360) at 193k units. Remember that VGC extrapolates a certain % for Canada, which NPD doesn't include in their numbers.

It won't be in the NPD Top 10.

Did someone call demon's souls a bad game in this thread? I won't even justify that persons existence with a quote, but seriously. What? I don't care what console you hate, what type of game you hate, or whatever, that's just plane ridiculous.

Love? You must love being in abusive relationships. This game is anything but love. :P But it's one of the few games that can keep kicking my ass and I come back to play over and over again. :)

I mean, its love to those who like rpgs.

Then again, I only beat 1-1,1-2, 2-1, 3-1, 5-1 and just about 4-1.

Still, 20 hours in and soul level 44 and I'm loving it. I haven't opened a single guide and I have the full brushwood armor set, purple flame shield and +1 Creasent Falchion. the only help i got was asking in the offical thread for whether or not i should get Warding.

BTW: WARDING IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING.

 

in 4-1 i started getting invaded. I love it.

193k won't be enough this october, there are too many games.  Tekken and Brutal Legend will probably occupy 4 spots alone.

tekken 6 maybe won't make it for the 360 it will only have 5 days. I don't think brutal legends is going to be that big for both system, maybe the 360 version will crack the top ten. operation flashpoint might occupy 2 spots though.

193k should be pretty easily doable for Demon Soul if the buzz which is over the internet is to be believe. I hope Atlus ship the title well, cuz if a customer doesnt find a game there r tons of others which are ready to be picked.. I m expecting next week numbers to be around 60k then 35k 30k before it picks up over the holidays..

But let see how close VGC numbers r according to NPD, sometime some title numbers r way off. i Hope its not one of those titles or it is one of the under tracked title than the over tracked one. :P
