Well seems like Bowser is denying is own kids or something like this because the new Super Mario Bros Wii refers them as "Henchmen"

Estragon adds something interesting, however:

One things that strikes me as strange is that they don't refer to the Koopalings as Koopa Kids (コクッパ) anymore in Japanese. They're now just Koopa's Henchmen (クッパの手下たち).

Huh.



One can only wonder what that might mean, or if it will have any bearing on the text of the Western release.

Interesting maybe Nintendo wants to keep Bowser Jr as Bowser's only son instead of having a bunch of characters running around with the same dad.

Bowser, that douche. He left his kids for an adopted Bowser Jr. and his "mama" Peach.

Now he keeps them as slaves...

So they're retconning the Koopalings in order to make sense out of Bowser Jr?

Well the way I would've made sence out of Bowser Jr is say he was just a dream that Mario or Princess Toadstool had. (You know like in that show 'Dallas')
