I'm going to stay a little dubious until we see this in action. I really don't understand from the description how they're compromising moving the cursor and moving the camera with this new scheme of theirs.

Well, WaW sold well, and is still selling well. I doubt CoD4 is going to sell well on Wii.

Why? People didn't not buy Resident Evil 4 because it was already on the other systems.

And no, the graphics not changing was not a factor. Graphics do not sell a game. GTA made that clear a long time ago.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

if you mean wii controls are significantly less accurate, less customizable, less comfortable, and more of a hassle than using a pc, then yes, you are right. For god sakes man don't be so crazy. The wiimote can only ever dream of being as good as a bargin bin ball mouse, and even then, thats a maybe.

OK, let me rephrase my first post:

I can sit on my couch in front of my big ass HDTV and amazing surround sound system and still be able to shoot enemies right in the forehead for easy 1hit-kos. What more can I ask for?

I'll buy that game too if it is out, cos WaW was great experience too!!
I love the controls from Wii for FPS!!

By the way a few posts before was stated that if PS3 will have keybord and mouse support for FPS it will be even better than PC...

That's nonsense what you are saying.
I know that PS3 is good with it's games running in 720p and graphic is mostly better/clearer as on Wii with it's 480p!
(But like have said after that, graphic is not all!! And Wii Games start looking better and better)
But what I wanted to say is, as good as the PS3 is, it will never ever have a chance in graphic against a PC (High-End-Gamer-PC)

But as evryone should know, that is not the reason to buy a console.
The only reason to buy on, two or all of them is to have fun!!

trying to use the wii-mote to play FPS is about like trying to use my TrackIR as a mouse substitute to play FPS. It can be done but a mouse is still easier. Hopefully Sony's wand will make a better mouse sub for consoles.
