Pretty much everything. Bad plot, bad characters, insanely hard to follow because it had no idea what it was doing with itself. It also tried to retcon everything from DBZ basically. Yeah, it just wasn't good.

Aw, I was excited to watch that show too.

Dragon Ball + Plot = does not exist
like Fist of the north before it, the plot line is just "I IS MORE MANLY THAN YOU!"
Unfortunatly I think the next one for the Wii is gonna be better XD
^ lol, why ?

It already has more characters. I know, it's not all that of a big deal, but I'm sure they are gonna do something special to BT4 to outclass Raging Blast (like even more "what if" situations). Just a feeling though.

I think it's odd to be a DB purist. Of all manga I find it the most difficult to take seriously, considering how ridiculous it was in plot and design. It was just way too silly to take seriously. You could predict every single story arc. "OMG Main Character is dying. Oh wait, new big transformation now he's winning. Oh wait, new enemy transformation now he's losing. Oh wait, new main character transformation enemy dies with spirit bomb/kamehameha." Don't get me wrong, it's fun to watch the series... but that's it. It's light, fun, and explosive. Hardly deep enough to care about the plot or complain about things going outside of canon. I don't mind disliking GT however, since it was just a genuinely bad show. |
that's the point, the manga was silly, and had more random funny humors, it also came out in the 80s and ended in the mid 90s which was over 14-15 years ago so the plot wasn't that new back then and people loved all the powering up during weekly jumps, others have just been copying his story style a lot because he was so successful. the simple fact that the animes were extremely poorly drawn was offensive to me since I've always liked his style even in the DR. Slump days(he didn't even need to use dot filters later in the DB series and was able to create good shadow effects with simple, solid skills,) not to mention all the fillers they put in because it caught up to the manga. the movies were all terribad( besides the one about Goku's father actually, which surprised me,) and I actually did watch them all, when they first came out in Asia, a kazillian years ago, just as bad as the Saint Seiya ones, my brother and I always made fun of those when we were watching those as rentals but we kept watching them because it was a new comedy every time for the most part.
So to sum it up, I don't like the anime aspect because: 1.)poorly drawn, 2.)fillers are crap, 3.) movies plots are mostly made by a bunch of retarded writers, 4.) they've been farming the DB name for too long and it needs to die, now. 5.) it's over 9000!

Downloaded the demo.
Firstly, I love the music. Secondly, I love the graphics. The game is extremely confusing to begin with, because it doesn't bother with a tutorial, but once you check the move list, it becomes easy. In fact, TOO easy. I hope there are difficulty modes, because after getting owned for perhaps 5 minutes I punched my opponent a couple of times and used one special attack, and I won.
I liked Final Bout (yes, there is somebody who liked it), so I might consider getting this.
*Looks at GAME*
£45? Hahahhahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha.....NO.
I'll buy it when it's down to £5, in a month or so.
Dragon Ball and DBZ were awesome. GT was a complete and utter mess. Did they ever make Dragon Ball AF?
