Koopa Kids? OMG!

You said it yourself, in the spin offs! I mean there will be koopa troopers in this game! DK has never been in a Mario platformer since Super Mario Bros. on NES and should never be.

Maybe I'm being a bit of a traditionalist but I feel that adding these kinds of characters would kinda ruin the integrity of the Mario franchise.. Nintendo handle Mario titles very carefully (Main Mario Platformers, not spin offs) and it's one of the reasons why it's lasted so many years.. 

Wow I'm actually more hyped for this game now.

Yeah well, meh. like I said, I was just giving some examples, not saying those characters should be in the game. My point is that imho -I repeat, imho- having 2 characters that are exact copies of one another apart from the color is just kind of a half-assed effort. Not that that takes away from the game, at all, I'm definitely looking forward to it, but they could've extremely easily put in another character.

To me, as it is, it looks like they were like 'oh wait, we made a 4-player game, but we only included 3 characters, now what? Ah, we'll just copy one of 'em and change its color, that'll do.' Even though that's probably not how it went or what they intended.

Also, all this is imho.

Wait. You didn't know it was co-op from the beginning? That was it's selling point when it was announced at E3.

Honestly, I was never all that hyped for this game, even after seeing the trailers and such.

These scans, though, with all this 2D imagery... I don't know, what is this!?

I need to play this, now.

Btw, I'd agree that the 4th playable character should be Toadette. She's one of the few "extra" characters that I actually like (Baby chars, Bowser Jr., Waluigi, even Daisy... gtfo!)

This is going to be one epic game :) I absolutely loved SMG and all the 3D mario games, but my all time mario game is Super Mario World, but I guess this one is going to take the crowd soon enough ;)
