Don't you just love it. I swear for the amount of people complaining about MGS4 rumours back in the day, you sure turn your colours when Mass Effect 2 rumours pop up. Seriously this is a copy and paste mistake. Until a real announcement happen, we can stop posting typos.
even if it wasn't going to happen, all these rumours are creating a demand for this game on the ps3 and with EA's thirst for profits i think it will be supplied

Theres something called "double standards" which is very prevailant in these forums......if your not used to it by now than you never will.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

It's probably going to happen. Every major third party ps3/360 title this gen will probably end up multiplat. Unless they manage to obtain an IP, the best Sony or Microsoft can hope for is a timed exclusivity contract, and for any game with even decently popular worldwide appeal, it will go multiplat whenever said contract expires.
The only exception to this so far is MGS4, which I assumed was going to be announced for 360 this past E3. I can only assume MGS4 staying exclusive is a result of a number of unique factors - probably a bit of fanboyism from Kojima, and probably because of the insane engine they developed for the game. Five installs. I mean seriously wtf. Porting that would in all likelihood be a major PITA.
BioWare and EA have nothing in common with Konami and Kojima Productions in this regard, and even then the Metal Gear franchise went multiplat post-MGS4. EA of all companies owns Mass Effect, and the franchise going multiplat is a no brainer.

Yes xbox fans started neverending rumours about mgs4 going multi-plat but everytime there's rumours about an xbox exclusive going multi-plat xbox fans bite peoples heads off. It's very likely going to ps3 otherwise EA would of denied it and not fueled the rumours.

To be fair, at least those bitching about MGS4 had Kojima's own quotes saying the game would only be on ps3 to back them up. Conversely, EA have been rather coy about ouright denying a ps3 version of Mass Effect 2.
Of course, we also had numerous quotes outright denying the existence of ps3 and 360 versions of Bioshock and FFXIII, and look how that turned out. Doubting MGS4's (permanent) exclusivity was the only logical conlusion a year ago, imo.
