9.6

+ Great graphics
+ Great story
+ Nice and long

- None really

The best fantasy RPG I have ever played

I hope you are ditching the top and bottom 5% of scores to null and void the idiots posting 5.8 scores which is just a joke, if this is not your style of game then you are not fit to review it.

I agree with MorgZ about ditching the extremes.

Why?  The point of these threads is to get VGC members opinons that have played the game.  If they didn't like it, they have every reason to post their score as do the people that post a 9.5+ because it's their favorite game.  All that is asked is that you've played enough of it to give an actual opinion.

Also, please do not insult other users on this site, whether it's calling a single user an idiot or everyone who rated it below what you want.

Can I second this?  Anyone who has played Oblviion should be free to rate it whether they love or loathe it or just plain find it average.  Everyone has their own vote, and can cast it as they see fit.

The whole thing is silly otherwise - might as well only let's those who love a game vote.  But then you could cut to the chase and just give the game 10/10.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

9/10

I must have spent about 120 hours playing this game.

great quests, a lot of places to explore, loads of weapons and items and a lot to do.

downsides.

Bugs, bugs, bugs and even more bugs.

Playing it still. Probably passed already the 40 something hours I've put into Fallout3. Still playing the side quests before going for the main quest.

+Huge map, this always good
+great overall quests
+levelling system
+music

-glitches
-combat on consoles( I have the PS3 version and Every time I tried to run facing the enemy my character ducked wich was irritating and actually disturbed my battles. The bow and arrow was also useless, since it took too little life out of the enemy and you could only take two arrows before the enemy getting to you( even with a partner or a summoned beast)
-ugly people( I had actually some female NPC that I thought were man before speaking)
- not being able to figth from the horse, wich turns the horse almost useless, since you can fast travel, and the advantage of slow travelling, wich is getting random enemies, is gone.

VASCO DA GAMA CAMPEÃO DA COPA DO BRASIL!!!

CONGRATULATIONS VASCÃO

VICE É O CARALH*

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future......NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

And the score is 8.64!

The thing is guys. A lot of Oblivions opinion is divided between the people that absolutely loved it and people that liked it but felt it was in some ways a step backwards for the series. Unfortunately I fall into the second category. Don't get me wrong I played it for about 2 or 3 months when it first came out but it simply isn't something I keep coming back too like Morrowind was.

Still it was a good game. I think its silly to say that it wasn't.
