Forums - Sony - EA Russia list Mass Effect 2 for PS3.

Whether it comes or not, I'm not buying it regardless.

EA in another country also said Left 4 Dead 2 was coming to the PS3, I wouldn't count on it.

I doubt this happens and if it does, I don't think it will sell all too well. People keep bring up "stand alone" sequels like Bioshock and FFXIII. You character and decisions from ME1 have a direct bearing on your ME2 experience. Any PS3 owners already have ME1 for 360 or PC, they'd have zero reason to opt for the PS3 version.

They could probobly fit both games on a single bluray and still have 30 gigs left.

+1 and I am sooo 'tired' of this weak ass comment from all the people using the same arguement (ME 1 save file).  Who cares, what happens when someone picks up the game on pc for the first time and skips ME1?  So that arguement holds no water when it comes to exclusivity.

ME1 not appearing on the ps3 is still a big arguement.......its been out for 2 years now and not even an announcement yet for the ps3.

If EA had full control of the ip or werent obliged not to by contract , it would be on the ps3 by now. It hasnt so that must mean MS must have a deal for the exclusivity of the ip.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

That could explain the preorders at Best Buy for Dragon Age Origin...

Sorry. my camera sucks. Basically it gives you skins for Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 version of Dragon Age Origins. Why would they do that for the PS3 version if they weren't releasing it on the PS3?

wow! I did not know that......I think this indirectly may confirm a future release of the second game.  Kind of like saints row 2 and condemned 2 releasing without the benefit of the first game on the ps3.

Exactly. EA would have released ME1 for PS3 by now if they could have or at least made some sort of ME1/2 compilation announcement. ME1 is to 360 what MGS4 is to PS3. Not only that ME2 on PS3 without ME1 would be repeat of Shenmue 2 on Xbox without Shenmue 1. We all know how well Shenmue 2 sold on Xbox.

I would not be surprised if we seen a Mass Effect Collection released at the release date.

Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 on a single BRD with all DLC and some extras for about 79.99.

It's the same as Dead Rising 2. ME2 would sell much better on 360, but PS3 sales would be nothing to scoff at.
