I can even see Sony beating the WII U when it comes to total first party software sold on consoles this generation just like how Sony previously put the GC to shame when it came to total first party software sold on 6th gen consoles ...

Sony actually has only several 1st party million sellers on PS2, Nintendo has much larger number of 1st party milion sellers on GC, despite PS2 sold x7.5 better than GC.
Sony games have bad attach rates, on other hand Nintendo games have best attach rate in gaming industry.

Nintendo shouldn't have to be beaten by the likes of a piggybacker like Sony when 1st parties are all Nintendo practically has ...

Actualy Nintendo sold more or similare 1st party software sold on GC compared with Sony 1st parties on PS2, not to mentione sales on handheld.

Nintendo sold 80 million games on GC that are published by them including games not internally developed by them. Sony sold 180 million games on the PS2 published by them for comparison and both figures are according to Vgchartz ...
Sony had little but they didn't have nothing. Gran Turismo and God of War really showed that exploring first party games or partnerships was viable for them ...

Of Course that Sony did not sold more 1st party titles than Nintendo if we talk about consoles, they literally can't compare.
