The fact of the matter is it has underwhelming sales for a GT game, very underwhelming. even 500k would be unimpressive for the series.

Not your problem it didn't sell as well as other GT games either.

But taking all of that into consideration... Look at GTA sales on PSP.

PSP naturally doesn't sell games as well as other PlayStation platforms. This was to be expected.

well downloads in torrets sites are insane.
they have a version patched for 5.00 :(.
piracy it's really hurting some sites have 200k+ downloads.

word of mouth will helps its legs. As this is a great game. All the reviewers were expecting a full GT experience in GT PSP and thats not what it was designed for. It was designed as a pickup and play game.

So far everyone that has purchased it is loving it. I'd recommened it to any GT fan or PSP owner who wants a racer on their PSP.

talk about trying to polish a turd! For GT it's sales are mince...Mario Kart on the DS for example is approaching 16 million.

MK DS opening week sales were 569k, on the much more popular and much less pirated DS.

Also, the data there doesn't need DD sales adding onto it.

Oh come on don't use the ''pirated system'' excuse again. The DS is much easier to pirate and is the #1 SW seller.

GT PSP won't reach any GTA PSP type of numbers and people still think it will sell 10 million on PS3, what a joke.

GTprologue sold 4 million plus on ps3, so that pretty much says that when GT5 gets here (billion dollar IP) it is going to sell gangbusters (10 million is no problem).  I notice you are very negative towards anything sony related, why oh why do you post if this is all you can contribute to conversations?  Why don't you wait tell there is something you would like to talk about positively, then most people would actually start to 'respect' you again.  This site does not track downloads, how do you know it did not do 750,000 first week including downloads?

GT PSP is on psn, so its likely 25 percent of its total sales will come from PSN, due to the fact every PSP GO bought in europe until OCT 10 gets a free copy of GT psp.. and ofcourse its currently on the top sellers list on PSN.

It's not an excuse, it is logic.

Plus piracy isn't the only factor to take into consideration. DD sales also. When PD release figures themselves, THEN we will know the real opening week.

Red- GT games have legs, really good legs. Include the DD sales and it could surpass VC Stories and come close to LC Stories.

As for GT5, as i mentioned before...  PSP games don't sell like console games.  That is why GTA on PSP only sold 3.5/5.6 Million, compared to on PS2 where the games sold 10M +

lol like if I care about the ''respect'' of some unknown internet user like yourself. GTAIV PS3 is very far away of the 10 million mark so what make you think GT5 will do better?

Oh but maybe you want me to repeat for the hundredth time how good GT:PSP did like a blinded PS3 fan? (when we all know this is no good numbers at all) If not, then you have to accept my point of view on that matter, even if it doesnt fit with yours.
