And if Xbox fanboys gave it an average of 9.6 their would be no bias in it but just normal common sense

I rated the game on what I played simple as that.. I'm actually shocked i'm not seeing lower scores than what has been posted. I'm really not a fan of any FPS....nothing against halo

What does 94 have to do with anything??? If you are bringing up metacritic fallout 3 got a 8.0 on this site but a 90 there. I didn't see you crying about that.

I didnt mention Meta, but yeah, thats a reference point too.

But just compare 8.3 (8,2 was miscalculation) to what the rest in this thread gave Halo 3, probably around 9.4. That's a big difference - only due to console bias! Halo is the icon of Xbox. This thread is about ranking games. And compare to MGS4 sscore in an earlier thread in this series, who got 9.5 due to the Sony majority on this site.

Is this so wrong to point a finger at?? I think it's very revealing and interesting.

well that was expected. So could people please move on and continue to rate the game ?

I'll give it a 9.5

+ Great campaign (could be a bit better though)
+ huge battlefields
+ one of the best co-op experiences available
+ online is second to none
+ value
+ epic soundtrack

Like i told already, if the game was on Ps3 then I would've given it the score it deserved (IMO): a 7 - 7.5 . Also, maybe the reason that these people own a Ps3, is because they like those exclusives better. As the score indicates, they don't hate Halo, they just don't find it as 'perfect' as some 360 fans do.

 

EDIT: People should rate games on how they think about it, and not based on what it 'deserves'.

I don't see how scores in the 8's can be considered evidence trolling or fanboyism.  The scores may be influenced by such but there is no way to prove it and in the end you end up standing there pointing accusingly at other members with no evidence to back you up.

Mario Galaxy was given and three and several 6's and 7's and they were counted, so I don't the point of pointing fingers at members who are entitled to give their opinion about the game.

OT: Haven't played so can't score it.
