^How many memorable?
I LOVE ICELAND!

That's true but I think they can do better. Way better. If their companies relied on those products then I bet they would be alot more effort put in.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.
"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I don't know who's messing up the industry. I just know it's messed up. I think the fact that there is only one video game company making consoles now is a big reason it sucks now. Needless to say I'm not happy with the way things are. |
I give up. You just refuse to budge from the opinion that SCE and MGS are not video game companies, just because they are not solely video game companies.
So by that logic, Creative, who only make music players (for the most part) are better than Apple at making music players, because Apple also makes computers and operating systems?
This thread is full of ignorance and arrogance, its kinda overwhelming to see ppl that think like this

I mean memorable as in, something to look back at and play and enjoy generations after they were new, like if you look at the 16-bit and 8-bt era, games that you will remember even to this day. Like Street Fighter II or Super Mario World. Tetris and PAC MAN are the ultimte examples, but those are in another league.
Out of those you mentioned, I'd say maybe the ICO games. LBP, sure that's one that will be remembered. And maybe Ratchet & Clank, maybe. Killzone2 may seem cool now, but my wild guess is that it will be remembered as just another FPS that happened to have really good graphics at the time. Same with inFAMOUS, just a Sandbox game that seemed cool at the time.

Sony Computer Entertainment and Microsoft Game Studios aren't their own companies. The first one's just a subsidiary and the second's only a brand name.
Creative and Apple don't make the music for those players. If they did they would still be playable on other music players. I said this once before, if video games consoles were commoditized like DVD and CD players things wouldn't look as bad.
