After it was announced that Treyarch would be bringing the original Modern Warfare to the Nintendo Wii, could the Wii be getting another Call of Duty title next year in Modern Warfare 2? It's looking possible. In an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine, Activision's David Suarez was asked if we'll be seeing Modern Warfare 2 on the Wii, his response;

"Treyarch is working on this (Modern Warfare: Reflex) right now. Infinity Ward is working on Modern Warfare 2 right now. I think it's fair to say that we want to give the Wii consumer new experiences and we'll continue to do that."

It wouldn't be surprising if we did see Modern Warfare 2 hit the Wii as it will be (and already is) a very popular game and would definitely sell well if on the Wii. The last Call of Duty game to come to the Wii was the current World at War which Suarez talked about;

"World At War sold really well on the Wii, it's got great numbers in terms of the amount of people that play online as well. I think you'd be surprised - it's a lot more"

If World at War was a hit, then Modern Warfare: Reflex is sure to be with the modern combat scenario becoming more and more popular. Let's hope to see Modern Warfare 2 arrive on the Wii.

I've had this strange feeling that they might include Modern Warfare 2 on the Reflex disc. I don't really care, as I'm not a fan of the series, but I just really wonder why they dropped the '4' from the name.

Why would they do that when they can sell you two separate games instead?

This is Activision, after all.

I'm interested in seeing how far Modern Warfare Reflex will go on Wii in terms of sales.

Also morbidly curious about how low first week sales will be

I'm sure it will come, but the real question is "When?"
