Yeah you can make a comparison. They share just as many similarities as they have differences. Going by your logic you can't compare anything. "What's better Oblivion or Oblivion?" "Oblivion by far man!"

No. No they are not. Perhaps one guy is but not SONY fans in general. Do not jump to rash conclusions. Also do not tie an opinion to a group just because 1 or 2 people said it...

Well it definitely beats Oblivion since that game isn't that good to begin with, Fallout 3 is pretty close to it.

So yeah it pretty much beats every RPG except for Mass Effect series.  ME series is gaming gold.  Also Dragon Age might give it a run for its money.

Delusional anyone? Demon Souls didn't score higher on average than Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 will just blow it away. Fallout 3 is a great game that continues to get good updates. Demon Souls isn't even a GOTY or best PS3 game candidate. There is no way it will be better than Dragon Age Origins.

Dragon Age will give it a run for its money. On average the game will be played through aboutt 3 times.

Meh, that's like trying to say Portal is better than Braid: both are puzzle games but it's like comparing apples and oranges.

I picked up Demon's Soul this afternoon (got the last and only non-preorder copy the Gamestop had ) but forgot I was supposed to go out with the wife tonight so I was too tired to play such a brutal game so I'll get to it tomorrow.

Considering I don't actually like Oblivion and Fallout 3, this hopefully shouldn't be too hard of a statement for me to accept.
